Membership and Marketing Assistant – entry level position 

The Harvard Club of Boston a prestigious private city club is seeking a professional Membership and Marketing Assistant. This role offers the opportunity to work closely under the guidance of the Membership and Marketing team. The ideal candidate will be proactive, creative and enjoys working with people.  In addition, the candidate will support and work closely with the membership and marketing team

Responsibilities

  • Assist in several aspects of database management and member relationship management systems (CRM)
  • Assist members with creation of member event registrations via email and phone
  • On-site registration management for member events to potentially include nights and weekends
  • Creation of attendee lists and registration
  • Assist with online calendar postings for member events
  • Assist in creation of email marketing lists for committee meetings
  • Assist in monthly campaigns for membership retention and recruitment
  • Assist with social media management
  • Answer basic member questions regarding events and general membership
  • General administrative duties as assigned to ensure the smooth operation of the department.

  • Knowledge of Salesforce and Club Management systems is a plus
  • Desire to work in hospitality and/or marketing
  • Some knowledge of Harvard University community
  • College Degree with a background in marketing, hospitality, or communications 

Compensation

  • Annual base salary – $47,000
  • Full time position
  • Excellent Benefit Package including matching 401k Plan
