Job Description

We are currently searching for an Associate Broker who will play an integral role in our growing

business. The position is on the top tenant representation team, which is one of the top teams in the

industry, advising high-end private and corporate clients on their office space projects. Most clients are

financial, tech, healthcare or high-end service firms. Typical projects are 6 to18 months long and range

from $1M to $250M+ in total lease commitment, where clients are consulted on everything from

workplace strategy and needs assessment, to market conditions and space alternatives, negotiations,

creative financial packages, related costs, lease options, infrastructure, lease documents and municipal

considerations. The team’s business is focused in New York City, the largest and most dynamic market

in the U.S.

The new hire will benefit from a focused, proven program with clear and achievable goals, as well as an

open, collaborative team environment with support from top level senior brokers and a highly respected

international platform, including outstanding research and financial analytics departments.

This is a unique opportunity to obtain a highly sought after position in commercial real estate, with

unlimited income potential as a young professional and extraordinary work/life opportunities. This is a

commission-based opportunity: Earnings expectations are approximately $30K-$75K in Year 1-1.5, +/-

$100K in Year 2, +/- $200K in Year 3, increasing $100K each Year following. While there is uncertainty

with commission based employment, the upside quickly supersedes the risk for a new broker. The current

environment can provide opportunities for an associate to learn and take advantage of change in industry,

then benefit from pent-up demand going forward in 2022.

Candidate Profile
Candidates must possess a strong conviction for the role and its long term benefits, as well as outstanding:

business development acumen, self motivation and awareness, communication and presentation skills,

problem solving abilities, organization, competitiveness, and an entrepreneurial edge. Brokers on our

team will be required to bring a positive, consistent, balanced, coachable, high-energy attitude every day.

Clients require synthesized verbal and written communication, efficiency, reliability, creative thinking,

sophisticated analysis and strong character and values.

Working Conditions
Normal working conditions with the absence of disagreeable elements. Excellent location, beautiful new

headquarters office, tightly knit culture and camaraderie, meritocracy with fair commission distribution,

and supportive senior brokers. Typical work hours are 8 AM – 7 PM, with flexibility on Friday

afternoons, Summer Fridays, vacation time and work-from-home.
