Right to Dream Academy
The Right to Dream (RtD) Academy in Ghana, West Africa, is a fully residential elite education and sporting academy for 100 boys and girls aged 10-18 years old. It is a 100% scholarship school that recruits across 30,000 talented West African children each year with potential in football, education and character. It develops its students through academic years 5-13 (key stage 2-4 primarily), teaching around five core subjects (currently accredited with Cambridge, and running the IGCSE curriculum) along with a continent-leading character development curriculum. Enrichment programmes include a partnership with LEGO® education (including a LEGO® Education Innovation Studio). The elite sporting element to the school hosts U15 & U17 soccer/football teams that are some of the best in the world, as well as the only residential girl’s academy in Africa. RTD provides life-changing, world-class pathways to its students within education and professional football. The Right to Dream Foundation in Ghana is part of the Right to Dream Group that includes registered charities in the US & UK, and Superliga Club FCN in Denmark.


In West Africa there are a lack of structures and no sustainable platforms with pathways to success. Right to Dream is starting to communicate our powerful stories globally through major partners and networks.
