NextGen Vest is currently hiring Financial Aid Workshop Leaders for both the remainder of the fall semester and over winter break as well as for the spring semester. 

Here is the job description:


+ Learn public speaking skills and present financial aid workshops in local high schools in your community    

+ Work with a national network of top students on strategic projects directly with NextGenVest's CEO.


+ You will get access to our Professional Leadership Development Program, which includes tutorials and Q&A with alumni on networking, interviewing, writing cover letters, resumes, and presentation skills.

+ You will receive NextGenVest personal finance training led by our CEO, a former financial advisor. Topics include Financial Aid, Budgeting, Credit Cards, Student Loans, Investing, and Insurance.

+ Receive prizes include NextGenVest mugs, beanies, shirts, hoodies, iPads, and scholarships! (exclusive for Financial Aid Workshop Leaders)

+ Recommendation letters available for all interns

+ Best performing Financial Aid Workshop Leader each semester will receive a recommendation letter and get connected with a contact in dream career field (exclusive for Financial Aid Workshop Leaders)

+ You’ll gain a deeper understanding of education-related financial policy and student loans

+ You’ll develop your public speaking and mentorship skills and learn more about how a fast-growing tech start-up operates through our unique online training programs

+ The training program sessions are led by NextGenVest Alumni who have gone on to work for Apple, JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley, and Edward Jones, as well as our CEO, Kelly Peeler!

+ You’ll have the opportunity to expand your writing skills and become a published author by writing articles for our blog

+ You’ll also have the opportunity to develop your marketing and social media skills by leading an information session about your university on our Snapchat story


+ You’re an enthusiastic, outgoing public speaker

+ You’re a goal-oriented self-starter

+ You’re passionate about helping other people

+ You’re accountable and responsible


+  Must be a current undergrad college student (no graduate students or alumni)

+ All majors are welcome to apply

+ Able to work 4-6 hours per week

+ Minimum GPA: 2.5

+ Must have a Gmail account
